LA Galaxy San Diego Sport reviews
Meaningless but Still Fun
Shame that the Galaxy didn't want to play this game between two more important MLS scheduled games in the heat of a playoff race. That was the bad part. The good part was the pre-game experience, aka Fan Fest. Kudos to Chevrolet for giving us a good time with lots of freebies and photo opps! The game itself was lame, would have left after 30 minutes if not for how much we paid for the tickets. Could have been a closer contest if the Galaxy cared an iota, but they didn't. Fun though, if you're a Man U loyalist, though it would be much like Alabama's annual slaughter of mighty Troy University which typically results in a 56-3 rout. Glad that Man U cared, and my memory bank will forever possess images of Wayne Rooney doing what he does so well -- play with intensity at all times! If you're the local MLS loyalist, have the right temperament going in because you will not like the lopsidedness of those sitting in the seats, 90 percent of whom will be cheering for the invaders and (pathetic) booing the home team. Necessary? not! Go Galaxy!
